Dear Oasis Community,

We are deeply saddened by the news regarding the collapsing of the Key Bridge in Baltimore. Our thoughts are with all those affected by this tragic event; we extend our heartfelt sympathies to the families and loved ones of those involved and the first responders working tirelessly on the scene. This is a sad day for both our Baltimore and Maritime communities.

LATEST NEWS AS OF 5/21/24: The US Coast Guard has announced that recreational boaters can ENTER and EXIT Baltimore Harbor using the Sollers Point Temporary Alternate Channel  24-hours daily. The channel has  a controlling depth of 11 ft, a 264-ft horizontal clearance, and vertical clearance of 95 ft.

MSIB 048-24 Consolidation of Limited Access Channel and Temporary Alternate Channels
Recreational vessels do not need to schedule with the MTSRB but should transit at a no wake speed, stay well clear of Sparrows Point and all vessels engaged in salvage and safety operations, and remain within the marked channel.

The Unified Command or Captain of the Port may cancel this opportunity at any time for safety reasons. Boaters who access the channel during this time should use VHF Channel 16 and 81A while transiting the area.
